Housing pheasents and Chukar

can chukar and pheasants be house in a large Avery ( 14’ by 40 feet long ) and get along well
 
Yes they can. I have them in the same pen for almost a year with no problems.
 
Varied results as anticipated. I had no problems at all having them with yellow goldens, peafowl, on their own, with quail etc. I currently have some now with pheasants HOWEVER.....I had a Pen with Swinhoe and a chukar. The hens were mutilated, scalped, whatever you want to term it. I assumed it was the Male Swin. The females BOTH were killed. I was not happy, then I went out and the Male Swin was in the same condition, totally scapled and bleeding and hunched in the corner dieing. It was the Chukar.
Roll the dice.
