Okay, I have afew different breeds of pigeons that were given to us by my Uncle-in-law last spring. At first I wasn't really thrilled about it but we couldn't very well turn away a gift from Uncle. Over time I grew fond of the pigeons and the doves and we picked up a few more. We now have ten pigeons and eight doves. Right now we have all of them in our pheasant enclosure where we have twenty foot ceilings so they can fly up in to the rafters or nesting boxes.
Now my uncle put an idea in my head about some pigeons he used to have. HE thought we could build them their own enclosure on the second floor of our lean too, and leave an opening for them to fly in and out of. I don't know if that's something we can do with our particular breeds of pigeons. I have 2 Arcangels, 2 Barbs, 2 Squabs, 1 homer, and three giant runts.
With the exception of the Giant Squabs is this plausible? Does anyone else do this? Could I do this with my doves as well? They're all ringnecks.
