Keeping pigeons with bantys?

I have a small banty coop with only two chickens in it right now, I was wondering what I should think about if trying to get a mixed flock with bantams and pigeons! Would the pigeons need a separate roosting/nesting area? I’m already planning on adding more perches for them that the chickens can’t reach. The coop isn’t that tall, but it’s taller and wider than the dog cages I see people keeping their pigeons in a lot! And help, tips, and things to think about are greatly appreciated!

This would also be my first time keeping pigeons, and I may swap out one of the chickens because one of them may be a roo (which we can’t keep in town)

I currently only have 5 bantams, and they are pets.
Pigeons do need an aviary, and do like to loft fly. So that means separate housing arrangements for the two groups.
Not sure what size dog cages you are referring to. Post some pictures of your coop. Also indicate your general area. since it is not in your profile. Different zones, weather-wise means different suggestions offered.
Just a little preventive advice. If you do get pigeons,, soon you may have offspring's. If your baby pigeons do fall out of nest,,,, and your chickens have access. well the results are not pleasant.

If you could explain further that would be amazing!

I’ve seen a lot of people keeping their indoor pigeons in an XL metal dog crate, as they’re out most of the day, which is how it’ll be if I get my own pigeon(s). I’d have them be indoors with me whenever possible

I’ll try my best to grab some photos tomorrow because it’s dark out! After more thought though I do think building them a separate place of their own will probably be the best bet, just because the coop only goes up to my chest (5’8)

When I get pigeons I am not planning on mixing males and females! My parents wouldn’t like having more birds randomly being born around lol, and definitely noted if I ever do decide to breed them someday
