What kind of housing/shelter does everyone use for their ducks?

I used an old dog house and they were allowed to free range during the day. I had a fenced in area with the dog house that they were closed into during the night. But I didn't keep them over the winter. The dog house worked fine for the spring, summer, and early fall. If you live someplace warm that gets very little snow I don't think you would need much more.
