I have hatched and raised geese most of my life, keeping some a full 15 years. They are all imprinted and total pets! I LOVE goslings and cannot bear a spring without them. However, I am aging and it becomes more difficult for me to shovel snow to the barn to keep adult geese away from predators over the winter. I live in NW Wisconsin. Hence I have been hatching, imprinting and totally enjoying goslings from hatch through the fall. Then I have to find them loving forever homes where the people PROMISE to not eat them. This is becoming more and more difficult. How can I find homes for my special geese that I raise through their childhood, but need to send to forever places to live out their lives safely?

Unfortunately there's only so many homes for them all. I enjoy hatching too, but have to stop at this point or I will have too many geese. Geese are very long lived as you know, and are similar to other pets like dogs and cats in personality. Personally I would stop hatching at this point and enjoy the adults.
