Ok, I *think* this is a Leghorn, and we are watching because the comb is getting bigger than everyone else's in the bunch. Do you think this is a rooster???

And while we're at it, we're guessing this is a White Rock. What do you think?

You guys are all SO helpful!!! :)

1st one, is a leghorn. Female leghorns combs and wattles are bigger then normal chickens ( at least mine are). She might be a girl. I would keep an eye out for rooster-like behavior still.

Yes. I will get them tomorrow. This bird is def. the most flighty of our 8. The chicken was given to us without an exact date of birth, so I think it's about 9 or 10 weeks. We have had them for 7 weeks, though it seems like SO much longer! :)

:0( We were hoping that the second was a completely different breed altogether! This is terrible news!!!

Oh, at those ages you have a cockerel on top and a pullet on bottom. Now, if the top bird were 5 months old, it could be a pullet, cause your girls will get big red combs eventually. But at this age, that's all boy.

Ok. Little one seemed to know I need pictures of her (him!) and was very willing today. Here you go!
