Houston, we have a pip

So this is why I should have been taking notes right? The blue & olive are good (YEA)I have 3 white, 3 light brown and 2 dark brown in there that all look really good! I know for sure one was dark brown and cant remember the other.

ok.. the two that have hatched were from brown shells. I have 1 more brown shell with a good pip starting and two white shells with good pips. The others I cant tell yet.. the two that hatched out keep pushing the eggs around changing their position. So, the only ones I haven't seen a pip on yet are the green EE eggs..

3 more hatched out last (2 leghorn crosses and another brown shelled cross; didn't get a good look at it) night bringing the total to 5.. also saw some pips on the EE crosses and a pip on one of the leghorn crosses.

so far 21 (almost 22) % hatch rate.

Final Results:

Started with 23 mixed breed eggs (EE, Leghorn, Sussex, BR, BJG, RIR crosses)

13 Chicks hatched successfully.

All of the brown eggs hatched.
2 EE crosses pipped but did not hatch
4 EE crosses infertile/didn't develop
1 EE cross stopped development before pip
3 Leghorn crosses stopped development before pip.

19 out of 23 eggs were fertile
13 out of 19 hatched = 68% hatch

So, without further a dew, here's the fuzzy butts.
