Hova bator 1602 w/ Fan still air or forced?

For our next hatch attempt we are going to be using a hovabator 1602n with a fan. I thought this was a still air incubator but since it has a fan is it concidered a forced air? It makes a huge difference as to what I set the temp!

What do you guys think? What would you set the temp at?

I bought one of those 2 months ago, and haven't been impressed. Mine says to set the temp at 100 so that's what I did. I have had 2 large batches of eggs now, and not one has hatched. It was very noisy with vibrations until I took it apart and tightened everything again, but still vibrates a bit. I used a Hovabator 2364 (borrowed) and a Brinsea Mini Eco with success this spring, but am really disappointed with the 1602N.

Sounds like 100 didn't work for you.

Forced air . 99.5 is the temp you should shoot for . Make shure your thermometer is correct. Turnl them at least 3 times a day till day 18 humidity between 30-50% first 18 days then up to the 70s for hatching good luck
