hova bator conversion with a computer fan

Wanting to convert a still air hova bator on the cheap...can I substitute a brushless computer fan for the kit? does it move too much air?

Lots of people have done that. You need a 12V power plug to power it.

I don't know what a 'brushless' fan is, but I took the fan out of my old gateway laptop and wired it to a phone charger. It works great.

eta: the charger I used is 5.2 volts and it works fine with the fan... if I used any more power I think it would be too strong.
