O.K. i put in the other waffer and i think it is going to work. it didn't take but a minute or two and i had to start turning it down.ill check back later.and let you all know how it works.thanks for the help.

Temp dropped too 95.3 while i was out doing the animal work.will it hurt much?

nope, lower temps is WAYYYY better than high temps

Does anybody know where to get the stacked wafers? I'd love to find a couple of those.

well the other waffer held the temp at 99.2 all night.i bumped it up a little and i think that solved my problem i will pick up a new waffer in case this one starts messind up.but im still goingf to get a new bator this one belongs to my dad.and i know he hasnt used it in 17 years. i have hatched out 2 batches of quail in it this fall.and until now it has worked very well.
