Besides the Hovabator 1588 I use probably first one pulled out of the closet, I also love my Incuview from Incubator Warehouse. Its also preprogrammed to a set temp and it has a digital humiditor on it also to let you know the humidity. It comes with a egg turner. The eggs lay flat but when is the last time you saw a hen brooding eggs with them sticking straight up, right? I leave the tray in an just remove the pin that pushes it back and forth for lockdown. Keeps the eggs from being soccer balled around by the hatching chicks and it has a big clear lid so you can see everything.Thank you all so much for replying and for the reassurance. I began to doubt the purchase! I figured it couldn't be a poor choice if the company is responsible for the big cabinet bators![]()
This is a great idea! Thanks for sharingI use an egg turner in mine and put fish tubing down one of the holes into a chosen trough to add water so I dont even have to open it unless I am candling.
Yeah. I get that and put it down thru one of the holes and shove it into one of the squares above the trough I want to use and then just use a 12g syringe or turkey baster to add water. The only time I open the bator is to candle or take the turner out. Ive had great hatches doing this.@Rammy fish tubing like aquarium tubing? Gonna get some!
