Hovabator 1602N and Hatching

So I have a few questions. I have a Hovabator 1602N and currently incubating 7 eggs. .
I read about the red plastic things that are on top and was wondering do you do anything with them during hatch? I read that you are supposed to take them out after 10 days? I don't remember if I ever took those red things out of the top.

Also my incubator read 104 the last time I checked it. I'm not sure how long it has been 104 so i lowered the temp. i hope it didn't mess stuff up.

Take the plugs out for hatching. The rest is now out of your hands.

i am only on day 7 so for lock down i take them out or now?

Assuming that I can maintain proper humidity, I leave both plugs in the first 7 days, one plug out days 7-14, and both plugs out day 14 on for chickens.
