Hello,

Has someone had expirience with this incubator?
I tried to search on here but only the Hovabator 1602 incubator showed up.Also is it good?Does it hold a stable temp and humidity?

Thanks

Hi, I did a search with no luck either. From what I have heard people generally like the hova bators. They require some attention but seem to work well.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I recently had over an 80% hatch with a Hovabator circulated air with turner, waifer thermostat, but not one of the newer ones in an open room without any heat on so exterior temps fluctuated a lot. We don't turn the furnace on and haven't lit the woodstove but once or twice in the last month. temps remained pretty stable in the bator occassionally Mid 98s at it's lowest and occassionally mid to high 100s, but usually 99.5 within .4 degrees. I did adjust up or down ever, ever so slightly(almost fractional, like I wasn't even turning the adjustment handle) when I noticed the temps at the high or low end. I bet I could get it even more stable in less spacious room or closet for sure, but my son likes to check on the eggs when passing through the house about 100 times a day. Sooo... we'll keep it where it's at for now. Good luck, Keystonepaul

I just purchased a Hova bator 1632.....so I'll let you know in a few weeks what I think of it.....LOL I also have a Reptipro incubator that I like.....I've hatched a lot of chicks in it! It holds a steady temp with no fluctuation (it's a small cabinet one). But, I needed more room for my eggs and I like to keep all my hatches seperate....so I bought a Hova bator 1632. With the turbo fan it should hold a steady temp all the time.
