I've got 2 of the lil giant's and I normally get 70-90% hatch rate. My first batch I ever set all but 2 eggs hatched out of around 25. Mines also a still air and I dont have a turner I turn mine 2-3 times a day. I just now got a thing to read the Humidity so I've been kinda quessing on that part and still having good rates but all in all I cant complain about them.

Another question, I know people have said on here where to get them, but I can't remember what post. where can I get a cheap hygrometer or something to read the humididty in my bator?

Walmart in the hardware department. You can get one for about $7.

Thanks alot for all info everybody you have talked me into getting a hova, I am looking at the meyer hatchery book they have the one that sets itself for 157.00 is that a good price?

Genesis 1588 is by far the best.

I have one of both. I started with a LG

did not like it

so I spend a little money and got a good one. I like my Hova and now I have a Sportsman on the way.

A big plus for Hova is they have really good customer service. (I 've deal with both CS).

I get 2/3 hatch rate with a still air LG 9200. I do have a twisted up tshirt in the corned for more humidity though.
