I'm going to use the Betty White name for my sweet leghorn! She was such a cool lady and my bird is my cuddler. Thanks. !They are readily available and free, which is the best part, lol. I use grass clippings and wood chips too (no pine trees on my property or I'd use those too) Thank you! The white ones are my 2 original ladies, Maribel, light brahma and Betty, WTB...
She was! I was watching her show “Betty whites off their rockers” while staying in a BNB, she’s so funnyI'm going to use the Betty White name for my sweet leghorn! She was such a cool lady and my bird is my cuddler. Thanks. !
Wow, she must’ve had some sort of genetic thing? Glad you found out who it was!I've been doing some CCSI (chicken crime scene identification) work lately to identify my soft shelled egg layer/eater! I captured the alleged perp the other day and locked in crate. No GOO in nest box that day! Well today the hen in question was in laying so I grabbed her off nest to see her egg, and Viola , a nice looking egg picked it up and it split open in my hand. I've done the calcium down the throat thing, no luck so off to freezer camp. So my investigation is done now. Yay the culprit has been found
