the size difference is quite something. The duckling is like the size of his foot lol. That's awesome how gentle he was. I showed my bf and hes like wow thats cute. Are ours gonna be that big? (Referring to the geese of course). I told him of course they are

And fast too they grow up so quick. someone said you can almost hear them grow.

Goslings grow so fast you can see it day by day. You have to enjoy them through this time because as rgey get older they become more independent  and will be together as a flock.

I've noticed that. They still follow me sometimes and when they do I just walk around the yard and sorta take them for a walk. I miss when I used to take them for walks. They do still greet me every morning and are very demanding still but I've noticed their distance. I guess it happens to the best of them :/

Just like human teenagers pulling away and gaining independence. So hard to let them grow up.

So true. Sometimes I feel like picking them up and hugging them while telling them "you will love me and like it" but then I realize how crazy that sounds and decide against it lol

I agree, we have two which absolutely dote on us at the moment, as did their earlier siblings, who have now grown up and prefer their own company in the paddock. I've been trying to recall how to add pics but seem to have lost the ability to do so can any one advise. I have a snap of the gosling & chicks and one with the older ladies with their adopted mum, my Mrs that I would like to share. Paul T
