How and why do chickens generate all that dust and cobwebs?

My coop and run were adorable when they were new and freshly painted. Now they look awful.

I try to hose it down periodically but I can only do it at night when the flock is in the coop and, because it's dark, I can't see what I'm doing and what I'm missing. Plus, there are a lot of open windows in the coop so I can't really hose up there.

Maybe this is something I'll just have to learn to live with. But I'd like to look at my coop and run and enjoy what we built.

I figured as much! I cleaned and repainted the inside of my coop not two weeks ago.
It was beautiful, white roosts and ramp all spiders evicted fresh hay on the floor simply lovely.
The first night somebody pooped like a bear, managed to hit both sides with the splatter...yeah.:hmm
You better believe I snicker. :gig
It was an adorable coop that made me post what's been on my mind for a year. :lau
