how are eggs packed for shipping? your experience?

Hi there!
I'm new to ordering eggs online and have a few questions. I guess may main question/concern is how they are packed for shipping. What is used to pack them? Have you guys had luck with ordering eggs? Do they usually make it to you in one piece? I understand theres a risk involved, just curious of others experiences. Any input is greatly appreciated!

I have never ordered eggs online myself but I believe it depends on who you are buying them from. If you're buying them from say, Cackle Hatchery, a more commercial based farm, its going to be different from someone on cragislist. Some people pack them with soft cushioning in egg cartons, some with cushioning in boxes, If you arent buying from a commercial place you could always ask the person who is sending you the eggs! c:
