How are you going to spend Easter?

I get to have a holiday from my DH and DD's. First one in a year! I'm going to London, Ontario to visit with my sisters for a birthday/easter/I-haven't-seen-you-for-so-long weekend.

My mom is coming here so that my DH doesn't have to be confunded at the idea of playing easter bunny.

I'm so excited, can hardly wait.

I'm chuckling at the words you left out. No grammar police here, just tickled because you really do type faster than you think, don't you?

I do!!! And I have no idea what I was trying to say there either!

We'll go to church, then I get to get ready for my husband's family to come at 1pm for Easter dinner! I'm a little nervous, as this is the first time I've hosted a major holiday. I'm making ham, cheesy hashbrown casserole, and homemade bread. Everyone else is bringing some side dishes and desserts. Knowing me, I'll probably make some mustard pickled eggs or deviled eggs, too.

My family's Easter is at my mom's house at 3pm. I doubt we'll make it before everyone goes home, though. My grandparents are coming back from Florida and they haven't seen our new house yet, so I'm kind of hoping maybe they'll come down to our house after my family's gathering is over.

Debiraymond~I love those cookies~never made them but the thought, recipe and scripture is truly awesome.
Our day will start with Church and then to my parents for dinner with Family.

Hopefully I'll be working on my coop. If it rains, I'll be inside making wooden bottoms for the old aluminum nesting box condo. It has 15 boxes with perches. Other than that I'll be resting on Easter itself.

For us it's church in the morning for breakfast, the butterfly hunt for my daughter (paper butterflies hidden all over the sanctuary), and then the celebration service. After church it's a two hour drive to the in-laws house for a huge family meal and gathering. We won't stop eating till night!

We will do about the same thing minus the sunday school. We just hide the eggs outside and let the kids find them and them dump all the goodies in community pot. Good thing is we already spotted a wild bunny outside. I told the kids its the easterbunnies helper scoping out the area.
