How bad is this scissor beak?

This is the first time I’ve ever encountered a chick with scissor beak before, and I was just wondering if someone more knowledgeable could let me know how bad it is/how I can better accommodate this fella. The entire clutch has some issue one way or another but I’ve just come to accept that I have a funny bunch of birds now.

At this point, it isn't too bad, but unfortunately, their beaks tend to get worst as they grow. She'll most likely have a severe crossbeak and will mostly need to be tube fed as an adult.

This was my crossbeak who had about the severity that yours is, but as an adult:

She did well living like a normal chicken living with a normal setup with the exception of her beak getting filed down every 2-4 weeks. During the summer months, I also had a deep pan of water for her, though the regular waterer was still served her fine. (I had a big base waterer.)

For any crossbeak, I recommend a deep water and food dish, and for the severes, I recommend a mash that they can throw their beak in and still get grain without it falling out like the pellets.

For further reading (and information concerning tube feeding), I like to share this article because it's quite helpful: Caring For Cross Beaked And Other Special Needs Chickens Including Tube Feeding Techniques

Thank you for taking the time to respond and thank you for the link to the article. My waterer has a pretty big base and I have a rat proof feeder that’s deep enough. I’ll just have to swap to crumbles! Thank you

I used to have a rooster with a scissor beak, he seemed fine and these aren't too bad, though they tend to eat less and, while young, have very high chances of dieing of starvation! Though Im not very educated on these I can for sure tell you that.
