I had 3 runners in a 32" x 32" dog house (kit from lowes). It was just for night and it was just fine. Better for just 2, but 3 worked fine.
With your size, just for night, I'd say 4 would be fine, but I'd not try to put more in there. 3 would have space to move around freely without stepping on anybody.
