How big are your Easter Eggers?

One of our Easter Egger hens, Olaf, has always been a noticeably large bird, even when she was a chick.

The other day I was reminded how big she really is when she was taking a drink next to one of our Buff Orps.

Here she is trying to groom the dog’s nails.

My EE Snakehead is your girl's twin and she's a big fluffy fatty. I only have a few large fowl since I prefer bantams but she's my biggest bird. She is bigger than my lavender Ameraucana.

Olaf is a sleek beauty!

A couple of my EEs happen to be some of the largest birds in our flock. Ava and Jaylin are larger than my Marans, Orpingtons, and most gigantic Barred Rock. Most are middling in comparison with the rest. I don't believe I've ever owned a "small" Easter Egger by definition other than my bantams.

Whoa! Spot on twins, full gnome beard and all! She even has the dark feather sticking out under the wing. Olaf has that on just one side.

Love the name too. They definitely look like Cobras, lol.

Mine is small in comparison to the other chickens I got 5 months ago. I’m thinking she was maybe two days old then and she’s still small. Just now getting her comb. She’s the sweetest and has been since Day one.

I have three EE's that are quite large but not as large as your big beautiful Olaf! They are 6 months old! But our 4th EE, Lovey (Kiwi), is smaller that the other three.

This is Bunny. She is our largest EE!

EE's can range in size. That's a normally sized EE considering the size of the waterer and the fact that that is a pretty small buff orp.
