How big can I go?

Currently my ducks (2 cayugas) are in the coop with my chickens. They've been raised together since they were in the brooder and get along just fine. My ducks just sleep on the floor of the coop under an old laundry basket that we turned up-side-down. However, we are getting more ducks this year so do plan to move the cayugas to a different run that we are in the process of building. We also are getting rid of one roo.

I'll be honest, I'd love an answer of "Get all the chickens you want!", but know thats not a good idea. Some days I wish the coop was bigger so we could house more, but I know it's probably a good idea it's not so I have to cut myself off.

a 5 x 6 outhouse? was that a 3 or 4 seater????

that's 30 sq feet, figuring the general consensus on BYC is minimum of 4 sq ft per chicken that's 7 to 8 for inside purposes. figure 10 sq ft per bird outside, that will tell you.
