Chirping
Our current record holder. Beat the last one by 4g. This one was 92g /3.2 ozs.
Later, cracked it into a pan for the kiddo and it legimately looked like I'd cracked two "regular" sized eggs instead.

Got 7 today but I don't know how Whiner got a hold of Cinnamon but he killed her today so Whiner has to go. I had all of the chickens locked up last night and this morning he had a hold of her and I got to her thinking that she might make it but then she started throwing her head around and passed away. I'm so done with Whiner now.
He's a puppy so he's on a one wayOh no, I'm so sorry! Soup camp for him!!
That is almost 100% a double yolked egg. I have a chicken that randomly lays eggs about that size every few weeks. What breed is she?Our girl, Violet, is newly laying. This was her 7th egg (laid for 6 days in a row, skipped a day, and BAM).
Her previous egg was 52g, and this egg is 77g! Will her eggs get bigger?! We haven't used this one yet to see if it is possibly a double. (My sister thinks it is).
**Edited because I pressed enter too quickly**
Probably. 80-82 grams wasn’t uncommon for one of mine. Usually hers were in the 76ish gram range. Never got a double yolked egg from her eitherI think our poor newly laying jersey giant layed this gigantic egg![]()
