How big of a brooder do A & M's need?

I have 9 eggs, and 2 are rocking. I figure it's time to get the nursery set up!

I'm not using anything fancy. My choices are: a shipping box about 8" x 12", a small dog crate, or....buy something else. What do you experts think?

ETA: I have zillions of empty fish tanks too, in various sizes. Would a 20 wide work?

a 20 sounds like a good plan to me! I start my chickens in one of those with the light high enough so I don't bake them 8 weeks early

Just keep an eye on your temps.

I have over 10 ams in a 10 gallon tank with over 40 some other coturnix chicks. Once they out grow that they'll go on to a 4 ft long by 2 ft wide bunnie cage thing....annnd if I sitll need more room theres my medium sized dog crate that I have some feathered coturnix growing out in
