how big of pen should i have for valley quail

Hi i bought some valley quail eggs from a local breeder. I have a huge pen for them but the problem is it is at my uncles house. But i want to keep about three of them at my house for a breeding project and was wondering how big of pen should i have for the three of them?

For new world quail, 2-3-4 square feet per bird. More towards the 4 range for Valley's.

A local breeder keeps trios in 3' wide X 3' deep X 2' High He seems to be doing well with this

Lol but seriously at least two square feet per bird but preferably 3-4.

Turn it on its side and it'll fit through. That 2' is narrower than me.
