He normally doesnt act like that, it was Christmas day, he was excited and thought it would be funny to pretend he was shooting the rooster..... Kids will be kids

But this post isnt about my nephew playing with his toy gun, its about my rooster and how pretty he is

I do not think that is a Cornish cross rooster, mostly because he has a feathered keel and his legs don't look funky like Cornish roo's legs do.

I also have to throw in my 2cents about the toy gun; I enforced gun safety rules even with toy guns, because I have seen first-hand what an accidental discharge does to a person's head. Based on what happened to my tracker in Africa, when I had stepsons, NO gun, toy or real, was EVER to be pointed at a person; in my opinion, it's good training for country boys who go from playing with toy guns to using the real things for squirrel or deer hunting.

But I have baggage, obviously.
