Yesterday was supposed to be hatch day. Nothing hatched. Turns out all the eggs were infertile. There was no sign that any embryo ever started to develop. I have seven hens and one rooster. All the eggs should have been fertile. I have seen the rooster do his thing. But this hatch was 100% failure. Do roosters loose their reproductive genes or whatever, when the weather gets hot? Anyone else ever have this problem?
I had a batch hatch out just a month earlier with 100% success.
Any comments?
