I may, but as much as I'd love to I'm worried because I've never built anything before. I don't want to spend all that time, money, and effort, and then have this cobbled together, not very structurally sound coop. Are you planning to build your own coup? This way you can cut a few costs... Good luck!![]()
I'm too young, but I'm flattered that you think that I'm older than I actually am.Why not get an actual job?
I'm not old enough to get a 'real' job-but I"m flattered that you think I"m older than I really am. I can't do chicks or hatching eggs (no roo) but maybe feathers or manure. I'm not sure how much of a market there would be around me, but I can check it out. Coops on craigslist for me are all either used prefabs or $400+, smaller than I need, no run, and also are pretty far drives away. I've also checked letgo, and have ended up with similar issues.Things that I know may work in you situation. I don't know how old you are but get a job. Restaurants here are looking for bus boy and dish washers. Maybe you can do 15 hrs a week.
Can you turn any part of your poultry hobby into income? selling hatching eggs, selling chicks, selling pullets, selling chicken manure, selling feathers? a feed bag of chicken manure sells for $15 around here. I love the dream coop you picked out but I guarantee you you can find - free coops on craigslist . Sanitize them with bleach water and you in business. Think outside the box. what features of the coop of your dreams do you really like? If you could get those features some other way, some other coop, would it bring you joy?
