How Can I get my Silkies White!

So if the sun is whats turning them colors....how much sun is too much? Does that mean we should start keeping the white ones in shady areas or indoors? And just give them some daily sun time?

We are going to move our whites to ther other side of the barn so they won't become bleached anymore. We might also put sand in there which is what a breeder told us to try.
