How can I help my hens keep laying?

I'm not sure what you mean by there being nothing in the eggs. It was just an empty shell with no albumen or yolk?

Must be a breed that's supposed to have an erect comb? Mediterranean breeds and many others are supposed to flop over.
When hens molt, their comb will shrivel and pale.

Yes that is correct, the egg was completely empty! the cones are just falling to one side naturally but hers is just fallen and floppy.A few weeks ago she laid an egg which had a little albumin in it but the last one was just dry inside

Some hens are just "layed out" at 3 years old.
