How can I keep my chickens warmer during winter and cooler during summer?

Ya'll I am in Ohio. 0F is normal, -10 is regular every few years, and 90s to 100 is normal for summers.

Winters require nothing but a very dry coop and a snow free patch of ground for them to come out into. We get a ton of snow which makes dry challenging so we put a little dry bedding in every week. We have deep bedding. We refill waterers with warm water 2Xs a day.

Summers require nothing but shade and a cool wading pool with plenty to drink in the waterers.

Chickens are hardy. You don't have a lot to worry about.

Winter: keep them dry with good ventilation.
This is how I keep thawed water:

Summer: Deep all day shade is best....
...and, forget frozen foods, make 'em big all day blocks of ice:

Here's how to add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

I'm in west texas. Our temps range from 10-116. Summer we make sure they have deep shade, cool water, ice blocks, and if it's a dry heat we give them a fan.
Winter we are going to make sure they have a dry coop and partly dry run, thawed out water, and block any wind from blowing on them while roosting.
