How can i keep the chickens from getting on there new "roost" ?

My chickens have started to roost on a huge peice of OSB in the rafters of the coop (an old barn that came with the house) and i cant get to it to clean it, so how can i keep them from getting on it?

Block it off by stapling chicken wire to the rafters. I had to take down the styrofoam sheeting I had laid across the rafters of my chickenhouse to keep them warm b/c the goobers wouldn't stop jumping up and eating bites of it. They finally had eaten a hole big enough to jump up through and had laid probably 20+ eggs before I realized what was going on.
