Hello!
I have 1 RIR and 3 EE pullets (4 weeks old). I live in WI, so winters can be tough. The girls are getting ready to move into their coop in the next week or two. Unfortunately, it is a kit ordered online, as I am not carpentry savvy at all (neither is my husband). I used weather proof paint to coat the exterior. The kit measures 82" x 35". The green garden fence run that I added is 8' x 3'. I cut an opening in the exterior of the kit run, and use a sturdy piece of wood held in place by brackets. I have S rings that secure the top of the green run, so I can access the door to the other run (Geez... I hope this all makes sense!). I do have hardware cloth around the kit. My questions: Should I switch out the locks? I have a pin with the plexiglass door, and the slide lock with the orange run door. I have a carbiner on the nesting box. How can I make this raccoon proof? Is it fox proof? Does the pop door need reinforcing? They will be cooped nightly. THANKS in advance for your time and sage advice!!! I don't want any losses. These girls have grown on the whole family.

Some pavers around it over the wire skirt would help (otherwise the critters will just nose under it and dig in), and don't forget the corners. You have no coverage there.

Thanks, HighStreetCoop.

I do have garden staples holding down the cloth, but I will look into pavers and taking care of those corners!
