How can i put a leg band on a chick?

Hey guys. This might be a kinda silly question, but how do i put a leg band on a chick? Is there any common household items i could use?

You could use a zip tie. Leg band.

If 2 people are doing it. 1 person holds the chick with feet facing the other and the 2 nd person does the zip ties and the cutting.

Great! Please remember to check it OFTEN they grow quickly, including their legs. Snip it off and replace it as needed!

how loose does it need to be on leg? i was wondering about leg banding as well ....

I Use Colored Zip Ties And Leave Them Loose Enough To Grow Because They Grow Fast....

I have the plastic spiral leg bands and it's hard to do by yourself (and I'm usually by myself). I'm afraid I'm going to break their leg.
I usually hold their toes together and slide the foot in.
