How can I reduce the sound of the rooster crowing in the coop.

I am starting again with a small coop but hope to have a larger one by next year. This time around I would like to have at least one or two roosters. As I am to start putting together a coop. Is there something I can line the coop with to reduce the sound of the rooster crows? (Would prefer something light so if need be I can move the coop around.)

Arrange the building so the windows are directed away from neighbors' houses. That helps a lot.
If you want to take the next step, use a positive pressure ventilation system blowing air into the coop and close off the windows and insulate so little sound emanates from the building.
You can't limit oxygen to your chickens because that will promote disease but there are ways to get them fresh air and still limit noise.

Thank you, will try with window direction as I do have some distance to work with.
