Hello. I am going to get two chicks for my son at the feed store. A buff Orpington and a Cochin. I am limited on the number of chickens I can have and I already have a gold-laced Cochin so I don't want another one. I'd love a silver laced but would be fine with a splash, blue or buff. Anyway, the people at the feed store said they know which ones are Cochins, but they don't know which chicks are which. 
Is the coloring on the chicks different enough that I can tell them apart? I tried google images and didn't have much luck.
