I was just wondering because my chickens and ducks hatched at different times. I have month old chickens, ducks, and geese. They are in a rabbit cage and they huttle together at night. But I just had 4 baby ducks hatch 5 days ago. Will they be fine. The highest here in Ohio is 91 degrees and the lowest for tomorrow is 68.

Are they on bedding of some kind or wire bottom cage? The month old should be ok, but the 5 day old ducks may need additional warmth from bedding.

Its wire bottomed with a thin layer of straw. I'll bring them in just in case!

Chickens are supposed to have additional heat: https://www.backyardchickens.com/LC-first60days.html

Day time temps are probably ok, but I would definitely add some heat at night.

If they are huddled together, that means they are cold. When we had different ages, we kept the temp closest to what the youngest needed. That being said, all of our chicks liked it cooler than suggested, by a few degrees.
