?? how cold is to cold to ship eggs

when eggs are droped off at your door step how cold can thay get and still hatch ,at what temp. will thay not hatch at all
 
I'd like to know too, asked same question, no reply.

You CAN hatch refrigerated eggs, but if they sit on your porch and freeze, there's not much you can do but make omelets.

I had eggs shipped in below zero weather and got 100 per cent hatch.
They were picked up at the P.O. and I guess they just kept them moving enough they just never froze.
 
Agree...as long as they stay around 40 they should be fine. This is one reason I don't mind if people refrigerate hatching eggs prior to shipping...especially if they need a few days to collect enough.

I've refrigerated eggs for up to a week while collecting enough to go in the bator, then popped them all in at one time. I've had two 100% hatches that way.
 
For this current hatch, I called my PO to let them know I was expecting packages and to hold them - I would pick up. Luckily last hatch I was home when they were delivered, postman was trying to balance the box on top of my mailbox.
