I might be incubating button quail/chinese painted button quail so I wanted to know when they are chicks and adults not when incubating how cold is too cold.

In the wild they average 70 degrees f - 21.1 c up to 85 degrees f - 29.4 c. this is for both adults and chicks after they are fully feathered at about 6 weeks of age. before 6 weeks they should be raised by the parents or in a brooder.
Brooder temps are as follows:
Week 1: 90-95F (32.2-35c)
week 2-3: 85-90f (29.4-32.2c)
week3-4 80-85f (26.6-29.4c)
week 5-6: 70-80f (21.1-26.6c)
week 7 and up normal room temp. 65-80

hope this helps
