I think they are moderately uncommon or rare - I rarely ever see people with them, but I know that out of the 5 EE's I've gotten, two were white. Sadly one died from, well, choking on a chunk of pine shaving, and the other from exposure to a bantam who carried some sort of bacterium.

I have a white EE hen, she was in the leghorn chicks bin at TSC. I have her in a breeding pen with a 1/2 Araucana rooster who is white and rumpless. Can't wait to see what they produce ! She lays a large green egg.

When I went to the feed store to pick up the 6 EE's I ordered from Privett the sales person talked me into taking an EE chick that was all yellow and had slate legs. That chick turned out to be a white EE hen in the end. She lays a green egg. This summer we are going to breed her with a friend's EE roo that is also white and see what comes out.

A friend of mine has 2 pure white EE standard size and 1 bantam size
