How could I get them closer?

The hens lately have been playing hard to get,and actulaly are making me think,"Its cause im a man(Lol).
Any suggestions?

You should try taming them with food.

Start by scattering food around your feet and just standing there while they come and eat. Talk to them softly. After about three days squat down and scatter the food around you while still talking. After another few days start hand feeding them while talking. This should tame them well enough that they come running when they see you.

Know that this will take a lot of time and patience.

i do that,but they just dont hang with me much.I guess i've tamed them to the point already.They roost with them,they just dont ALWAYS do it.

Maybe you need to look for friendlier breeds, like silkies, buff orps, etc.
