how could this day possibly get any worse

Thanks Speckle, and everyone! What happened to you, I haven't been on BYC that much. I just hope things get better, for the both of us.

I am so, so sorry. I hate when stuff like this happens. Just seems like one bad thing after another. That happened to one of our baby ducks, a chocolate runner, a few weeks ago. I'm not sure what happened but I think it ate a woodchip and choked or something. I hope things turn up for both of us.

Me, too..me, too.

Sorry, about your animals. Chester was a beautiful fellow and I do hope you can find someone to help you. Dixie

We've lost 2 sheep, one last year (Louis, 1 year) and then this year (Napoleon, 2 years). Both seemed to have bloated, but they were sick for a couple of days. We buried them fairly close to where they died. What we saw, they stopped eating a few days before, then their breath became labored. One went down and never got up again. The other was up and down a lot during his last two days. I've also heard clover is bad for them. Maybe he ate something in his pen that poisoned him. I'm sorry for your loss. Both of ours were terrible. They were Rambouillet. Napoleon was harder to lose because he was very tame and loveable. He was definitely a "little general" though.
