IV got some pullets that are starting to lay...yesterday morning I went out to start the day with feed and watering the girls..well I always count them cause IV only got 15 and I could only find 14...one was in the nesting box...I didn't disturb her but apparently she wanted to see what was up...so she laid her egg at my feet...today I found another egg on the ground and it had a small Peck hole so it got pitched..do I need
To fix her a nest there where she's been dropping them...or is the something else I can try? IV got plastic Easter eggs in the nest box as dummy eggs...I'm just afraid they will get a taste for fresh laid eggs...and I don't want to eat eggs laid in a high traffic area...what can I do
