I am so confused. Out of the blue eggs I just hatched from my Barred Rock Rooster and Easter Egger hens 2 chicks are not black. They other EE chicks are black but not these 2. Any clue as to why? I thought the BR genetics was dominant so I was expecting black chicks not these 2.

The two possibilities...
Your barred Rock is actually crossbred. Maybe he is a black sex link or something? He is clearly carrying non-black genes.
Your Easter Eggers were with a another rooster. Hens can retain sperm for up to a month so many folks don't separate long enough for breeding.
So they could be from the Barred Rock/ EE rooster that I had rehomed?

Well that's interesting. Thank you. I am happy with them just surprised. I did get a few chicks with the EE muffs and beards which is what I wanted so I am not complaining. Now it is the waiting game to see who is what sex and has what I want to keep in my flock. Thankfully my neighbor who I am trading some chicks with is ready for any neither of us want to go into freezer camp.

The Red circle is the Barred Rock, Sire of both the other 2 barred roosters. The blue circled is the EE barred cross, he had red smudges on his shoulders and a few colorful tail feathers. Then there is the Bantam rooster who I have since discovered also has at least 1 baby because 1 black chick has feathered legs and he was the only one of my flock to have that until now. This is the only photo I have of them as adults. All 3 barred roosters have since been rehomed.
