how did my chicken die????

went out there in the morning she was fine eating walking around nothing was wrong with her checked her the next morning she layed in the corner dead she was only 6 months old
looked her over no marks ar sighns of bites or anything only thing i noticed was she had no more feathers on her face was bare skin.. my other 5 that where in there with her was fine.. this has got me stumped any ideas would be great thanks alot

Please give us more info. Such as:
What are you feeding?
What kind or run , coop is she in?
How is the heat in your area?
Are you use shavings in the coop?
Have you wormed recently?
This will help us to know what is going on..........

i am kinda of thinking heart attack since she was so healthy and have no problems with predators we had some bad thunder storms last night was loud and shook the ground

since you live in florida i would say heat killed her

heat they realy never get to hot they got plenty of shade and water and dirt to cool off in and was not to hot when she died had bad thunder storms and lots of rain but never know heat could of gotten to her

I live within 50 miles of Raiford and the heat wasn't bad yesterday. I think the high was only around 90...if that. There were some HUGE thunderstorms around 3:00 pm that cooled it down to the low 70's. I'm wondering about ground to cloud lightning also.
