How did you come up with your screen name?

It's been my screen name on various sites forever. It's a play on 'dogstar', but I'm a serious cat lover so catstar it became. 68 is my birth year.

Awesome thread!

I just thought it was awesome that I could own chickens in the middle of the suburbs. Quasi ritzy suberbs at that. I'm five minutes away from all the shopping I could want and an IMAX theater. 'Chick' went two ways; I am a lady and I was just about to order my first chicks.

The first name that came to mind for my screen name was the chicken lady, but was already taken. Everywhere I go, I run into people who have bought chickens for me and the kids always yell out, "Hey, theres the chicken lady!" My second thought was to answer why I am the chicken lady? Because I love the chicks that I raise, I spend hours everyday in the nursery (the small chick coop/run) playing and loving on them until they get adopted out to new homes and it feels like spending time with my best friends, therefore, chicksbestfriend!
