People swear by Black Australorps being as friendly as Orpingtons, but I only ever encountered standoffish timid Australorps

So far only one buff orpington and one australorp like the attention. I would be grateful if they didnt change when their older. There is another australorp that will try avoiding us but once shes in our hand shes sweet. But shes also the one were having troubles with.
