How did you get started in shows?

Curious about shows and interested in how people started getting evolved with them. Not sure if any of my gals are show worthy but would like to see what kind of chickens 'qualify'!

I first got interested in all the different breeds so went to a few shows to see all the breeds. I got started showing from first going to shows and going progressed into going and showing.

I agree, you will want to visit a show before actually showing. Be sure to get the catalog before going, so you can recognize the checking in/out procedures, and so you can ask questions about anything you don't understand.
