how did you start getting chickens for me it all started...

my dad really wanted the chicks too. my mom has nothing to do with it. they are three and a half weeks old and she thinks they are in their ugly stage. not yet mom, not yet. I can't wait till they are grown uo i want to see what they look like especially my favorite the welsummer

Hey Eli sorry about bailing on you. I just remembered of when I was younger at Shelburne Farms and I was chasing around the chicken

so thanks to my good old memories I bailed on you and got chickens.

my sister had chickens and when i went to visit i loved getting the eggs. i decided if i ever lived in the country i'd be getting chickens. thankfully the floods last year made that possible. now i have chickens, goats and rabbits. i didn't know chickens were addictive but i am so hooked.

My family has always had animals. I went to an Aggie HS, although for Equine Science not Production Animal Science

I am trying to get my family to be a bit more self sufficient, with the rising cost of food gas etc. Chickens take up the least room. No way would the neighbors be ok with a cow. So chickens it is.
